What is a classmark

The library uses a classification system called the dewey decimal system ( each subject is given a number/classmark )
and the material is arranged on the shelves in numerical order

A book will have a label on its spine with the relevant number/classmark

The catalogue will indicate this number to show where a book is located in the Library
