You may bring in pencils, paper and electronic devices. Coats, bags, pens, food and drink and any other items must be left in the lockers which is standard practice in archives and reading rooms. You can obtain a locker key from Reading Room staff. We are the custodians of some unique material which we have a duty to preserve. If items were to be damaged by spillage of water or ink information might be lost forever.
