You can only place a request if all copies of a book (excluding Reference or Quick Reference copies) are out on loan. If Library Search states a copy has recently been returned, check the returns trolleys.
If you already have a book on loan, you will not be able to reserve another copy of the same book.
If you have already reserved 10 items, you will not be able to reserve any further items.
If you have fines of £20 or more, you will not be able to reserve any items.
Some items, including reference books, official publications and journals cannot be borrowed.
