The library uses a classification system called the Dewey Decimal system. Library Search will show you the classmark number (sometimes known as a shelfmark or a spine number), based on Dewey Decimal, for print books.
Note the classmark number down and then check the shelves for that number. Print Books are arranged on the shelves in numerical order. A book will have a label on its spine with the relevant classmark.
