Due to the relocation of Special Collections to the Holloway Road Learning Centre, the Reading Room will temporarily be closed from August 2024 and will operate a limited enquiry service via email, during this period.

Special Collections is part of Library Services. It comprises a Reading Room and several reference only collections including: The Trades Union Congress Library, The University ArchiveThe Frederick Parker Collection,  The Archive of the Irish in Britain, Artists' Books, and oversize (mainly art and design) books. You do not need to use the material in the collections, the Reading Room is also a good place for individual silent study.
