Why am I unable to place a reservation on Library Search?

There may be a number of reasons for this:

  • If you already have a book on loan, you will not be able to reserve another copy of the same book.
  • If you have already reserved 10 items, you will not be able to reserve any further items.
  • If you have fines of £20 or more, you will not be able to reserve any items.
  • Some items, including reference books, official publications and journals cannot be borrowed.
